National Symbols Decree
Section I. It shall be henceforth known that the national delicacy of the Sonora is bean and cheese burritos. This common and simple meal has been a staple of our society and reflects our very Baja-TexMex style and our heritage and culture.
Section II. Leninade, long having been the national drink of the Sonora shall hereby be replaced with Mountain Dew to distance ourselves from our socialist past.
Section III. The Black Bear shall remain the official national animal, while the California Grizzly (now extinct) shall remain the unofficial national animal and symbol on our flag and seals, as well as the common housecat.
Section IV. As Sonora is a nation based on secularism and does not have an official established religion, the patron saint of the state shall be General Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo, with other Bear Flag Revolutionaries such William B Ide who can be regarded as unofficial figures of history held with esteemed regard throughout the Empire.
Section V. The Imperial Council has the sole concurrent power to enforce this decree and appropriate legislation.
